My name is Kayla Valane, and I’m a New York based graphic designer. I am currently a senior at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where I’m majoring in Graphic Design. I am also pursuing a double minor in Art History and Film and Media Studies. This winter, I will be studying abroad in Venice, taking an art and architecture class. Currently, I am also serving on the Student Activities Board, as one of their graphic designers. I design the flyers and Instagram posts that promote the events on campus. I grew up on Long Island, with my parents, brother, and dog. When I’m not designing, I love to explore the city, go thrifting, watch anime, and go to concerts.
